GoogleForms

Most of you are probably familiar with GoogleDocs.  Part of GoogleDocs is an application called GoogleForms.  This is an easy way to create tests using several formats such as text, multiple choice, checkboxes, choose from a list, or scale.  The advantage of using this tool to create tests is that students can access it from anywhere.

  1. This would be great for pre-testing. I am not sure I would trust the technology for a real test. But this is the future.. where all of our applications will be on a server somewhere.

  2. it could also work as a survey, or to fill out a google spreadsheet with out the kids directly accessing the spread sheet. They would mess it up- I know i messed up our class spreadsheet once!

  3. I love lindaleea's idea of using it for a pre-test. Our county has started and RTI (response to intervention) program to replace the previous testing referral track. In this new process we have to pre-test, document interventions, then test to see if growth was show, not if mastery was achieved, but GROWTH. Google docs would be an excellent way to document the first two steps.
